HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The city of Holland will hold its National Night Out celebration tonight at Kollen Park. The event, which promotes support for police-community partnerships and safe neighborhoods, are part of a nationwide effort to promote crime and drug prevention, as well as generate participation in anti-crime programs. Activities tonight include a dunk tank, vintage car show, kids games and a pie eating contest. National Night Out begins at 5 p.m. Residents are encouraged after they attend the event to go out and turn on their porchlights between 7-10 p.m. and chat with their neighbors.
