ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) – As WHTC/WYVN Sportscaster and Hall-of-Fame football coach Ron Wetherbee was laid to rest today, another long-time figure in local education has passed away.
Henry Breederland died last Thursday at the age of 82. Like Mr. Wetherbee, he taught at West Ottawa High, where 26 homes were built by his carpentry class students, and spent a total of 30 years in the classroom with both the Panthers and at Zeeland High. Mr. Breederland’s funeral is at 11 AM on Friday morning at Yntema Funeral Home in Zeeland.
Mr. Wetherbee passed away last Friday at the age of 78, and his funeral was at Rose Park Reformed Church earlier on Wednesday.
