HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A 47-year-old man is awaiting arraignment for allegedly stabbing a 49-year-old male acquaintance during an altercation outside of an East 17th Street home near Central Avenue late last night. Holland Public Safety was notified after the victim was initially treated at Holland Hospital for multiple wounds to the torso; he was subsequently taken to Spectrum-Butterworth Hospital in serious condition. A 44-year-old male bystander who attempted to break up the fight was also wounded in the leg, but declined immediate medical attention. The suspect was located and arrested several hours later. No named were immediately disclosed as the case remains under investigation.
