ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Jan. 25, 2022) – A community health survey for Allegan County residents is underway.
Conducted by the confidential online survey platform Qualtrics, a consortium of private and public entities, including the Allegan County Health Department, Allegan County United Way, Ascension Borgess-Allegan Hospital, the Allegan County Multi-Agency Collaborative Council and the Healthy Allegan County Coalition, is asking residents to participate in a 10 to 20-minute questionnaire about “local health-related needs and concerns,” according to ACHD Public Information Officer Lindsay Maunz. “The information provided will help our community understand community needs when accessing health care and healthy living, determine priority needs to focus on for the next three years, and understand the impact of the COVID 19 pandemic on a community level.”
Data collected through this survey, open to all Allegan County “community members” 18 or older, will be used in the county’s Community Needs Assessment that Maunz says will help “guide goals, objectives and action steps developed in Community Health Improvement plans.” Information provided will be kept confidential.
The survey runs through March 1st and can be accessed here.
