ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) – Ottawa County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a private property personal injury traffic accident in the 4900 block of Byron Drive in Zeeland Township yesterday afternoon.
The driver Angela Bouathong, 30, of Zeeland was driving southbound on a private driveway from a residence at approximately 10 miles per hour when the victim Tova Bulliss, 35, of Zeeland, was sitting on the outside trunk of the vehicle facing the opposite direction. According to Sgt. Kristie Wendt of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, Bulliss fell during traansport and struck her head on the ground. The vehicle came to a stop and the driver and passenger rendered aid until Life EMS arrived on scene.
Bulliss was transported to Holland Community Hospital in critical condition with a head injury.
The accident remains under investigation.
