SAUGATUCK, MI (WHTC) – The Saugatuck City Council gave the Michigan’s Edge Mountain Bike Association its blessing to draw up a Memo of Understanding that would allow the volunteer group to build seven miles of bike trails on 170 acres of old airport property over the next two years. The memo would allow the group to use the land at no cost, but with the understanding that it would step back if any future development is made. Council will consider the matter at a work-study session before casting any deciding vote.
