GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – A 43-year-old Grand Haven man is in serious condition following a dirt bike accident Saturday night.
According to Sgt. Matt Wilfong, Michael Heinz was riding a Yamaha dirt bike eastbound on Johnson when he lost control and hit a mailbox. He sustained head and leg injuries and was transported to North Ottawa Community Hospital.
Speed is considered to be a factor in the crash and he was not wearing a helmet.
