HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Grand Valley State University is expanding its oral history project series to Holland. “Nuestra Comunidad Hispana” will collect and share stories of Lakeshore-based Hispanic Americans at various times next month in Herrick District Library. GVSU’s Kutsche Office of Local History, who started a similar effort in Grand Rapids, will work with staffers at the Meijer Campus off of Waverly Road, the Herrick District Library, Latin Americans United for Progress and St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church on this project.
