HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – An evening of inspiration, hope and education awaits you at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Holland -Zeeland on Tuesday August 25, 2015 at Herrick District Library Auditorium. Registration and hors d’oeuvres are at 6:30 p.m. and the event is from 7-8 p.m.
An evening of personal wellness will bring presenters from around our community who will help you to take control of your health and provide tips to reduce your cancer risk! Be inspired by local breast cancer survivor Rita Tubergen, who turned a devastating cancer diagnosis into a lifestyle change she couldn’t be more proud of.
A registered dietitian, social worker, and American Cancer Society volunteers will share the resources available to everyone here in West Michigan, along with information on our upcoming 5K fundraising walk.
A local chef will provide small plates with recipes to take home.
