HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Due to emergency large storm drain tube repairs underground by BPW-retained contractors, Azalea Avenue is now closed between South Shore Drive and West 24th Street, while South Shore Drive will be barricaded, starting tomorrow, from Lugers Road to Graafschap Road. City officials say that the work should last two weeks, with both roads projected for reopening by September 4th. They add that the South Shore Drive closure will cause travel delays and motorists must follow the posted detour along 32nd Street.
