ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) – A Zeeland Farm Services semi carrying 45 tons of soybean meal over-turned yesterday morning spilling the soybean into the median at Business I-196 and Main Avenue in Zeeland Township.
The driver, a 47-year-old Grand Rapids man was attempting to turn right off of Main Avenue onto I-196 when it overturned.
There were no injuries and the semi was the only vehicle involved in the crash.
The driver was cited for driving too fast around the curve.
