HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – It is the first day of classes for Hope College’s 154th Academic Year today. The school is not expected to announce enrollment numbers until later this month, but officials say that, based on record application interest, the number of students taking classes will approach last year’s high-water mark of 3,433. Hope kicked off a year-long 150th Anniversary celebration with Sunday’s Opening Convocation, continuing it with yesterday’s groundbreaking of the Bultman Student Center.
