Ottawa Co. Treasurer Named President of Statewide Treasurers Group

WEST OLIVE, MI (WHTC) – Ottawa County Treasurer Brad Slagh has been selected President of the Michigan Association of County Treasurers for the 2015-16 year. Now in its 81^st year, the MACT promotes education of its members, assists with enacting legislation that promotes and protects taxpayers, and encourages consistency of operations within county treasurers’ statewide. The one-time Zeeland Township supervisor has been overseeing county finances for the past eight years.
