Medication Assisted Treatment Conference Underway in Spring Lake

SPRING LAKE, MI (WHTC) – The Ottawa County Circuit Court’s Adult Drug Treatment Court program is hosting a three-day Medication Assisted Treatment Conference in Spring Lake. Judges, doctors, psychiatrists, therapists and probation officers from across the state, totaling nearly 150, will be getting highly-specialized training, with an emphasis on heroin use and opiate prescription medication abuse, which will help in treatment and judicial supervision. Seminars are slated to run through tomorrow.
