Tulip Time Bulb Planting Planned

HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Tulip Time officials have set an October 10^th date for planting around 50 thousand tulip bulbs at the largest municipal site, the Window on the Waterfront Park off of 6^th Street. Volunteers are needed for the two planned two-hour sessions running from 8 AM to 12 Noon, with registration through the Tulip Time office required. The following Saturday is also being set aside as a rain date. City staffers are expected to plant over 300 thousand bulbs at various sites for blooming during next May’s festival.
