9/16 Wednesday: Harvest 2015: The Carhartt Woodsman Release at New Holland Brew Pub- Come for the Pub tapping of this year’s release of The Carhartt Woodsman, Barrel-aged Pale Ale. Enjoy a pint of this favorite brew and help New Holland kick off the 2015 Carhartt Woodsman Tour! In 2014, Carhartt, America’s legendary work wear brand since 1889, and New Holland Brewing Co., brewers of craft beer and spirits, collaborated on a brew crafted to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the iconic clothing manufacturer and pay tribute to the hard-working people who wear the brand. 9/20 Sunday: Civil War Muster at Van Raalte Farm Park- Historic Van Raalte Farm again hosts the annual reenactment extravaganza. This year’s event features music, impressions of historical figures, performances, medical scenarios, period-style vendors, and (of course) battle. The 2015 battle re-enactments are the Battle of Five Forks and the battle of Appomattox Court House. Parking Instructions: General Public Parking will be at the nearby JCI lot, located at 858 East 24th St., Holland, MI 49423 From there, visitors will be taken by shuttle to the entrance of the park on 16th St. During the times of the battle, the shuttles will also be making a stop at the 24th St. entrance, which is closer to the battlefield. 9am-3:30pm Sunday; Free.
