HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A 23-year-old Holland man has been arraigned in the stabbing of a 22-year-old man overnight on Sunday.
Esteban Hernandez remains in the Ottawa County Jail on 200 thousand dollars bond following a hearing in Holland District Court on Monday. He had been arrested in the pre-dawn hours near his West 15th Street home after an altercation with an acquinrtance ended with the victim admitted to Holland Hospital with multiple stab wounds. Hernandez was wanted on a probation violation at the time, and a search warrant executed at the home uncovered what detectives believe to be a meth lab.
The unnamed victim was transferred to Spectrum-Butterworth Hospital, where he was initially listed in serious condition.
The case remains under investigation.
