MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, MI (WHTC) – A Friday night football game between Muskegon Heights and Saginaw Nouvel Catholic Central is being moved across the state.
The game was scheduled to be played at Muskegon Heights, but recent gun violence in the city has prompted the game be moved to Saginaw.
Muskegon Catholic Central refused to play its game at Muskegon Heights a few weeks ago after being warned by police officials about possible violence at the game.
The Michigan High School Athletic Association declared it a “no-play” and wiped it from the schedules of both schools.
