HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Ottawa County Deputies were dispatched to 104th Avenue north of Adams Street in Holland Township to a personal injury motorcycle acident.
Holland couple Jimmy Riersma, 73 and his wife Wanda, 74, were southbound on 104th Avenue when they entered a curve to fast. According to Sgt. Kristie Wendt of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, Riersma went off the roadway,hit a gravel shoulder, lost control and then put the motorcycle down on it’s side.
Both were wearing helmets and were transported to Holland Communty Hospital where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
