Suspect Arragned in Grand Haven Convenience Store Smash-and-Grab

GRAND HAVEN TWP., MI (WHTC) – A 22-year-old Grand Haven man remains in the Ottawa County Jail after allegedly breaking into a closed convenience store south of his hometown on Wednesday morning and taking cigarettes and alcohol. Deputies were called to the Southtown Market off of 168^th Avenue after witnesses say they saw the crime in progress. The suspect, Michael Brunnmeier, was apprehended a short distance away with blood that was consistent with what was spotted at the scene, and the stolen goods were recovered. He didn’t require hospitalization prior to being taken to the Ottawa County Jail and is held on 10 thousand dollars bond after an arraignment on breaking and entering “with intent” charges.
