GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – A 47-year-old Holland man has an October 19th sentencing date following a non-contest drunken driving plea involving a fatal crash. Richard Rish allegedly plowed his SUV into a disabled vehicle along the shoulder of eastbound I-196 east of 32nd Avenue in Hudsonville on May 23rd, killing a waiting driver, 64-year-old Bernard Langmeyer of Deerfield, and injuring his wife. A third vehicle was collected up in the wreck, hurting two Wisconsin residents inside. Rish remains held in the Ottawa County Jail on 50 thousand dollars bond.
