Garcia Fills House Committee Vacancy Created by Gamrat’s Explusion

LANSING, MI (WHTC) – One of the Lakeshore’s delegation to the state House is stepping in for another. Daniela Garcia of Holland’s North Side was tabbed to fill a vacancy in the Lower Chamber’s Appropriations Committee created by the explusion of fellow freshman Republican Cindy Gamrat of Plainwell. Garcia will retain her seats as the Vice-Chairwoman of the House Education Committee (chaired by Park Township’s Amanda Price) and on three other panels (Commerce & Trade, Health Policy and Regulatory Reform).
