HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Former State Representative Cindy Gamrat’s office reports that she attended her first candidate forum since announcing her candidacy in an effort to win back her seat.
All candidates were invited and 6 participated in the forum hosted by the Allegan County TEA Party, where candidates were each given an opportunity to speak and answer questions from the audience.
At the end of the Tuesday evening event, a straw poll was conducted with the names of all 8 candidates included, and Gamrat came out on top with the most votes to win the poll.
Gamrat expects to attend additional forums around the district as they become available and to continue to reach out to the people of Allegan County.
Gamrat will be a guest on Talk of the Town with Juke Van Oss Wednesday September 30, at 9:30 a.m. here on 1450 WHTC.
