POLKTON TWP., MI (WHTC) – An 18-year-old Ravenna woman is expected to recover from an ankle injury suffered when her car struck the trailer of a commercial truck at an intersection north of Coopersville late Wednesday morning. Deputies say that Kaedria Terrein was driving southbound on 56th Avenue, while 31-year-old Jacob Thompson of Grant had stopped his rig for a stop sign on Taft Street and then proceeded eastbound when the collision occurred. Terrein was taken to Hackley Hospital in stable condition; Thompson wasn’t hurt. The crash remains under investigation.
