**UPDATE** A juvenile male admitted to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, Sept. 25 that he committed the arson of the shed behind Harbor Reformed Baptist Church on Sept. 21. The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department has submitted their completed investigation report to the prosecutor’s office for further review. The suspect’s name has not yet been released.
HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) – A shed behind a place of worship on Holland’s North Side went up in flames on Monday afternoon, and a firebug is being sought. Deputies and Holland Township firefighters were called to the Harbor Reformed Baptist Church off of Douglas Avenue and Adams Street around 12 Noon and saw the small structure completely engulfed. It didn’t take long to bring the blaze under control with no injuries, and a description of a black male in his 20’s, with a moustache and a scar on the cheek emerged from a witness who saw the suspect flee from the shed just before the fire started.
