HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A nationwide Drug Take Back Day is on Saturday, from 10 AM to 2 PM, with law enforcement venues collecting unused or expired prescriptions “with no questions asked” for proper disposal. The Holland Department of Public Safety will have two collection sites – the 8th Street headquarters and at the Kollen Park Fire Station, where a charity car wash is being held from 11 AM to 3 PM to support a tuition assistance fund for Calvary Schools of Holland in the name of 2015 Crusaders grad Marissa Kronemeyer, who was killed on June 28th in a head-on car crash. Other Drug Take Back venues along the Lakeshore are at the Wayland State Police Post, the Norton Shores Fire Department and at Shoreline Wellness in South Haven for the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department.
