KALAMAZOO, MI (WHTC) – Child Protective Services in Calhoun County say five-year-old Haley Elswick is missing. Officials have posted her name and picture on the National Registry for Missing Children.
They claim her drug abusing mom and her child abusing boyfriend left the state with her to avoid having their fitness for parenthood questioned by CPS workers. They believe they may have fled the area about a month ago.
Efforts to find them since have failed. They and other family members fear the little girl may be in danger. The girl’s mother recently posted a facebook message to her family to leave her alone. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
