HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – It’s Mental Health Awareness Week. This week is dedicated to raising awareness about the devasting effects of mental illness.
One-in-17 Americans live with a severe mental illness according to the National Association on Mental Illness. Depression, bipolar disorder or schizophrenia are the most diagnosed mental illnesses.
Mental Health Awareness week runs through October 10. If you know anyone who is suffering there is local help available.
