HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A Debate for the State House Seat in District 80 will be held at the Fennville High School in the Auditorium from 7-9 p.m on Tuesday October 13, 2015.
1450 WHTC will carry the debate live, with News Director Gary Stevens moderating. The seat in District 80 was Cindy Gamrat’s seat.
Increasing taxes, illegal immigration, Planned Parenthood, Cindy Gamrat’s expulsion and how the future representative will serve Allegan County will be among the topics.
Candidates who will be participating include Gamrat, Eric Dewitt from Holland, Bill Sage of Allegan, Mary Whiteford of South Haven, James Silver of Fennville, Shannon Szukala of Allegan and Jim Storey of Holland. They are vying in a special Primary Election on November 3 to see who will face Democrat David Gernant on March 8.
