HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – It is assessment night for the Holland City Council, as the panel is considering annual fees for downtown parking operations and maintenance, supporting the Principal Shopping District and for downtown snowmelt operations and maintenance. The total cost of all three for affected property owners would be around 95 cents per square foot for Fiscal 2016. No final vote will be taken this evening, as council will be asked to approve the formal publishing of advance notices for public hearings on all three matters in two weeks before the yeas or nays are heard in chambers.
