ROCKFORD, MI (WHTC) October is Bullying Prevention Month.
The Michigan State Police reminds parents and teachers to talk to students about what to do and what defines bullying. They say bullying is a form of abuse that consistes of repeated acts over time that involves a real or perceived imbalance of power with the more powerful individual or group abusing those who are less powerful.
Community Service Trooper Martin Miller of the Rockford Post says over 70 percent of students will witness an act of bullying while at school.
