CROCKERY TWP., MI (WHTC) – Groenik’s Elevator and Hardware may be the latest Nunica-area business to be victimized by burglars. Employees arrived this morning to find a broken out window at the Michigan Avenue retailer, with considerable damage caused and several pieces of Carhartt merchandize stolen during the incident which occurred around 2:30 AM. Sheriff’s detectives are investigating whether this crime could be related to similar break-ins in the area. No suspects are in custody, and anyone with any information is asked to contact the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department or Silent Observer.
