LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Michigan Department of Treasury officials have released statewide and county-by-county numbers involving average home values and total taxable values for 2015. Across Michigan, the average home value is $59,490, with a total taxable value of $327.7 billion, increases of seven percent and 2.6 percent, respectively, from last year, but far from levels seen in 2008. The means in Allegan County are $69,043 and $4.4 billion, while Ottawa County stood at $89,359 and nearly $10.3 billion, up four percent in homes and 4.5 percent in total.
