COOPERSVILLE, MI (WHTC) – Sheriff’s deputies say that a total of nine parked vehicles were burglarized overnight in Coopersville and three neighboring townships – Chester, Polkton and Wright – with wallets, purses, cash and other loot taken. All but one of the vehicles was unlocked, and two of them were enclosed in open shelters. The advisory to not leave valuables in parked vehicles and to always lock parked vehicles was once again issued. No suspects are in custody, and anyone with any information on these crimes is asked to call the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department or Silent Observer.
