BYRON TWP., MI (WHTC) – A dawn crash on eastbound M-6 east of the Ottawa County/Kent County line hospitalized an 18-year-old Alto man and blocked the highway for some time during the morning commute. Deputies say that Khang-Kenneth Vo’s westbound car crossed over the median and collided with an eastbound pickup truck west of the Wilson Avenue exit. Vo was taken to Mercy St. Mary’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries; the driver in the other vehicle, 36-year-old Kevin Vardon of Zeeland, along with a three-year-old passenger suffered minor ailments. Some subsequent fender benders ensued.
