GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – The attorney for convicted murderer Victor Donaldson will ask for a new trial after the 14 jury members involved in the trial of the 17-year-old Holland man all denied bringing a six-page online printout into the deliberation room in violation of court rules. The printout was found in the back of one of the juror books. Donaldson was convicted in August of second-degree murder in the August, 2014 stabbing death of Ja’Paris Rodgers along Riley Street on Holland’s North Side in what prosecutors called a gang-related death. Sentencing was delayed when this printout emerged.
