HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) – The annual Rake-a-Difference volunteer event, coordinated by the Greater Ottawa County United Way, takes place on Saturday morning from 9 AM to 12 Noon. Around 200 volunteers, including Republican state Representative Amanda Price of Park Township, will be scattered among 40 residences around the county to help those with physical or financial limitations deal with seasonal clean-up matters. The effort is tied into the upcoming Veterans’ Day on Wednesday and is part of the agency’s efforts to generate its goal of 81 hundred volunteers for the year that began in September.
