KALAMAZOO, MI (WHTC) – Michigan’s First Lady, Sue Snyder will be on the WMU campus tonight with an expert on the issue of preventing sexual assaults on campus.
Snyder wants to make Michigan a leader on the issue. Also at the podium tonight, MSU Psychology Professor Rebecca Campbell. The presentation begins at 7 p.m. in room 1920 in Sangren Hall and is open to the public.
Western Michigan University recently received a 25-thousand dollar grant from a half-million dollar fund allocated on behalf of Mrs. Snyder’s efforts.
WMU plans to spend it providing leadership training to empower men to join the fight against sexual assault.
