HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) – GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum has cancelled a scheduled speaking appearance before Ottawa County Republicans at their annual Reagan Day fundraising dinner this evening. Staffers for the former US Senator from Pennsylvania, who won Ottawa County in the 2012 GOP Presidential Primary, say that he and his family are flu-ridden, but that Santorum should be well enough to appear on the undercard for tomorrow evening’s Republican debate in Milwaukee. Lieutenant Governor Brian Calley will replace Santorum as tonight’s keynote speaker; tickets still available.
