GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – The Grand Haven pier is closed today due to huge waves and strong winds this storm is bringing to the lakeshore.
Grand Haven Public Safety Sergeant Josh Tomes says they will have officers stationed at the pier to keep people off until the weather subsides and it is safe to walk again.
20 feet waves are expected along the lakeshore today from South Haven to Ludington.
