UNDATED (WHTC) – Allegan and Ottawa counties remain under a wind advisory through 5 AM on Friday and a lakeshore flood advisory until 4 PM, as westerly winds will blow between 20 to 30 miles per hour, with gusts of near 50 miles per hour. Minor beach and dune erosion is expected through Friday, with water pushed farther inland than normal due to the long duration of strong winds, and conditions could be tough for those driving high profile vehicles. The Holland BPW reported only spotty outages affecting a small number of customers, while a few hundred Consumers Energy users locally were still in the dark as dusk arrived on Thursday.
