HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, MI (WHTC) – One victim of a devastating Nov. 4 Holland Township fire is out of the hospital.
Two-year-old Layla Gahue-Romero has been released from Grand Rapids Spectrum Health Butterworth.
Her grandmother, Maria Gutierrez-Fuentes, who raced out of the burning Pompa Vidals townhouse carrying the toddler, remains in critical condition at Spectrum.
The blaze put 20 people out of their homes and destroyed several cars.
