SPRING LAKE, MI (WHTC) – A 10-year-old boy visiting Spring Lake from Virginia is recovering from non-life threatening head and lower body injuries at Hackley Hospital in Muskegon. Deputies say that Caleb Davenport was running northbound on a crosswalk across M-104 Savidge Street at Division Street around 10 this morning when he was struck by the westbound car of 21-year-old Daniel Patton of Spring Lake, who wasn’t hurt. It was not disclosed whether Patton had the motoring right of way or could have stopped his vehicle in time as the incident remains under investigation.
