HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – Two people were hurt in a head-on crash on Ottogan Street near Knollwood Parkway in Holland Township Thursday morning, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Chris Dill.
Police on the scene learned that a 39-year-old Holland woman, driving a Pontiac sedan east on Ottogan Road just after 7:15 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, crossed the center line hitting an westbound Ford F-150 head on.
The 51-year-old Byron Center man driving the F-150, suffered a broken hand in the crash. An AMR ambulance rushed the Holland woman to Holland Hospital for treatment of internal injuries.
Police closed Ottogan for an hour for the safety of the victims, crash investigators, Holland Township firefighters and AMR ambulance crews. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
