HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – It will be a game of Musical Chairs at Holland City Hall next week.
A total of 11 hopefuls submitted applications by the 5 PM Monday deadline for a vacant Holland City Council seat. Nathan Bocks, Matt Hefko, Darlene DeWitt, Ben Kouchnerkavich, Molly Latchaw, Michael Hovinga, Tim Vreeman, Seth Gets, Quincy Byrd, Ian McKay and Gerado Tonini will each be subject to a 30-minute public interview session with council members, divided in two separate special meetings next Monday and Thursday.
The panel has to decide who will complete the final two years of Nancy DeBoer’s term, as she left her at-large seat once she was elected Mayor three weeks ago.
