GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – A sentence of two to 10 years in prison was handed down to Esteban Hernandez Jr., a 23-year-old Holland man who agreed to plead guilty to felonious assault charges in an deal with prosecutors that had habitual offender and other possible counts dropped. Hernandez admitted stabbing an unnamed 22-year-old man several times during an altercation on September 13th, with WEMET members called in to dispose of a reported meth lab at the West 15th Street house where the fight occurred. The victim, who was an acquaintance of Hernandez and had lived at the site, recovered from his wounds.
