TALLMADGE TWP., MI (WHTC) – Two unnamed Zion Christian School students are recovering from “serious” facial injuries suffered when their school bus drove off of Leonard Street at 24th Avenue in Marne this morning. The driver, 50-year-old Angela Telman of Hudsonville, drove through a stop sign and apparently was airborne for a short time before landing on its wheels on a residential lawn. A 16-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy were taken to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital for treatment, while three other students suffered bumps and bruises. All of the students were from the Coopersville area. An investigation continues.
