HUDSONVILLE, MI (WHTC) – A 44-year-old Allendale woman has been bound over for trial on embezzlement charges. Prosecutors claim that Lynnea MacGeorge admitted taking more than 76 thousand dollars from Grand Valley State University while she was an office coordinator for the Athletic and Recreation Facilities Management department between 2012 and when she resigned this past June 23rd. MacGeorge waived a preliminary hearing in Hudsonville District Court and is free on three thousand dollars bond. If convicted of the single felony count, she could serve up to 15 years in prison.
