GRAND HAVEN TWP., MI (WHTC) – A scheduled public hearing last night about a proposed 120 thousand square-foot medical services building planned jointly by Spectrum Health and Holland Hospital was postponed by the Grand Haven Township Board due to overcrowding at the township hall. Employees from North Ottawa Community Hospital filled the board room, as that hospital is opposed to the Health Pointe development on grounds similar to those when Holland Hospital built and opened a urgent care center near Zeeland Community Hospital last year. The public hearing will now be next month at Grand Haven High.
