HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A 90-minute Open House begins at 4 PM today in Council Chambers at Holland City Hall for Bob Vande Vusse. The city is honoring him for his 24 years of service on City Council, mostly in representing the Fourth Ward. He was elevated to Mayor on July 1st when Kurt Dykstra resigned, but lost in a bid for a full two-year term to Nancy DeBoer last month. A formal presentation is set for 4:30 PM, and light refreshments will be served. Vande Vusse still remains active in the community as the Director of the Howard Miller Library and Community Center in Zeeland.
